The Observatory on Latin America invites you to a public lecture by Mr. Ollanta Humala Tasso the presidential candidate in the upcoming 2011 Peruvian elections.
Ollanta Humala Tasso is Lieutenant Colonel (r) of the Peruvian Army, founding president of Partido Nacionalista Peruano. In the 2006 presidential campaign, lost the election by less than two percent of the votes to now President Alan García Pérez.
Mr. Humala will be discussing the current political situation in Peru as well as his political platform and the government policies he would put in place should he be elected.
Admission is free, but reservations are needed.
