Self reflection

Self reflection Being Peruvian in the United States is not the same as being in the Peruvian Peru, was the premise of these essays in Spanish on the Peruvian Diaspora; Peruvians Emigration to the United States 1980-2006; Peruvians in the United States in number; The Peruvian cuisine and the collective cultural identity; The peruanidad in the Diaspora: Being Peruvian in the United States. The essays in English reflecting my thoughts of both worlds in a symbolism, "Prayer in American public schools, Fahrenheit 151", "A story of a woman as a victim of domestic violence." I looked at my essays reflect the personal and collective experiences with whom I shared thoughts on Peru and the world with different ideas to academic institutions; because we are intellectuals transcultural and transnational. The migration has proved to be a positive process, and of benefit to our creative process, and learning of new environments. The peruanidad as a constant in the diaspora...
