THE IMMIGRATION & NATIONALITY ACT The effects of renouncing U.S. citizenship Section 349(a)(5) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) (8 U.S.C. 1481(a)(5)) is the section of law that governs the ability of a United States citizen to renounce his or her U.S. citizenship. Un reciente reporte en cifras  indico que 137.154 peruanos residentes en España. La diaspora peruana que radica en España está integrada primordialmente por trabajadores en diversas areas, jovenes empresarios, estudiantes, profesionales calificados, cónyuges de españoles, así como por ciudadanos peruanos naturalizados que cuentan también con la nacionalidad española. La migración tiene una larga historia,  pero ha tenido un acelerado crecimiento en los ultimos 20 anos, las migracion de peruanos dentro del Reino de España. Los principales destinos de la comunidad peruana  según el reporte de instituto nacional de estadisticas del Peru (INE), son las comunidades autonómas de Madrid, Cataluña, Andalucía y Valencia.
