Tales Of The Cocktail Speaking of Louisiana, New Orleans is hotter than usual in July.  Tales of the Cocktail is one of the biggest conferences in the spirit industry. 5 days of seminars, tastings and meetings spanning several hotels in the Crescent City July 17 - 21. Showcases for Peruvian  Cuisine    The world is not only discovering pisco, but also Peruvian food.  There are two big events coming up showcasing this South American cuisine, and Macchu Pisco is right there in the middle of it. In Washington DC, the first annual Taste Of Peru will happen Sunday July 7th at the historic Carnegie Library building at the Washington Convention Center.  Chefs from Montreal, New York Washington and Lima will prepare the best in Peruvian food, and you can wash it down with a Macchu Pisco Sour.  Get tickets here.  Then in New York City, on July 13th and 14th, Peru To The World Expopresents Unica the "Peruvian Tourist Gastronomic Fair".  Macchu Pisco will be the one and only pisco of choice served at this event, which will feature some of the best chefs from Peru.  Unica happens at the Altman Building, 135 W. 18th St.
